Imprinting on a soul, a newborn soul
Happy times and all good deeds
seeing a smile in their eyes
gleaming, sheening, happy eyes
good job here, pat on back
eyes that smile don't look back
keep on forward, don't turn away
applause applause applause
days get older years fly by
not looking back, eyes still fixed forward
always moving on to whole new worlds
applause applause applause
bad child stop, this is all so wrong
don't do those things, i smell the smoke
stop lying to me, i know what you've been doing
not stopping, still not stopping
applause applause applause
more years slip by and fly away
edge of building looking down
gun in one hand, bottle in the other
looking down now looking back
screaming pleads of all bad deeds
one foot off now falling down
falling fast no turning back
tears are shed and people cry
applause applause applause
