The Show is about a famous performer getting ready to perform at her very first concert.

Today is the day. The day of my very first concert. I have butterflies flying around in my stomach. I can just feel my face turning cherry red. I want to call in sick, but I can't let my fans down, they've been waiting a year for me to go on tour.  I finally am about to go onstage. The backstage person hands me and microphone and tells me I look so nervous, but I don't pay any attention to him. All that's going through my mind is "What if I forget the lyrics?", "What if someone laughs at me?". It's time to walk on stage. I see all of my fans and all of the props. The music starts to play. I close my eyes and imagine I'm singing in the shower. All of a sudden I'm singing like I'm Taylor Swift. Everyone starts cheering and before I know it the song is over. I walk backstage to change and grab a drink of water. My parents and friends come running up to me. They tell me how good I was but all I can think about is "Oh my gosh, I just sang in front of over one thousand people. I'm so shocked I can't even think straight. There is a ten minute break for me to rest so I better go take advantage of it.

The story reads as if you've actually experienced it. I enjoyed imagining I was there.
