I can see the entire world

through the crystal clear eyes

of a mock horse, a pendulum of warped

time and draining worries

that never touches anything as it spins

on its axis of no rest

and few worries. It continues

even after the reasons have vanished

for it to keep going. The horse looks

on, forever immobilized

into a figure of perked ears,

prancing legs lifted high,

happiness etched onto its face.

Only when it stops swinging

does it worry...worry when the next

push will come, worry it could be knocked

off its stand into the world below,

into pain and sorrows its innocence

has never known before.

Yet the axis comes back,

and on it the horse rests again,

to once more swing with all the happiness

possessed in its crystal clear eyes.
