Tasty Treat

by Susan H Fouts

To you they are a tasty treat,

But to me they are oh so sweet.

You look at them

Then look at me.

What's going on in your brain so tiny?

You're thinking

Should I jack those birds?

Will she see?

And munch on miniature bones

So crunchy?

I tell you this

You touch my birds

You'll be snacking

On your own cat turds.

Don't look at them

Or come their way

That is all I have to say.
