Alone in the dark I wait...
Starving for some glimpse of hope.
Will tomorrow come...
Will my soul be forever lost?
Into the shadows I fall.
Deep within the passages of my mind I slip.
Thoughts of my losses embrace me...
The icy air of death surrounds me.
Can salvation be found?
Company is a dream I must forget.
These urges of lifelessness I cannot resist.
This is the lot I have chosen.
Hope has flown away.
The end draws nearer.
Though I resist, my strength is lost.
The past will not be undone.
The future will never be...
In solitude I go.
