this pretty little flower burning bright

it looks like a dainty candlelight

alone it burns

its colours fading out

but i have no doubt

that its soul will soon be burnt out

flames, burning, oh burning so bright

rising up into the sky

wobbling, nervously, perfectly, calmly, but elusive

like their softly sucking oxygen out of the earth without a care

flames, flames, burning bright

wont you take my soul tonight.
