How much pain can one take?

Before you give in to the hurt.

I feel the Knife tearing at my skin

But never breaking its limits

My mind a mess

Asking questions that should never be asked

The Steel tip running freely now

Smiling as it glides deeper into me

I close my eyes

As I feel the world releasing its grip on me

The Blade quivering

As the once cold metal is now warm to the touch

For just one moment I’m free

And I can feel myself breath again

Free from the Hurt…
