Looking down at the floor

My breathing tight and heavy

I can feel the world crushing me

With every breath I take.

How did this pain become so much?

How did this pain become so real?

I’m losing this battle

To keep down my tears

As with every breath I take

I feel them escaping over my cheek.

How did I lose myself?

Or did I actually find myself?

The pain going away now…

My breathing getting easier…

The tears a lot less now…

My smile weaker now…

Looking down at the floor

As I sit in the corner

All by myself

The floor now stained Red…
