You saw me smilling today
But you didn't see the sadness behind my eyes,
You saw me laughing today
However you never saw the tears filling up my soul.

Did you really not see me pushing my heart down my throat;
Did you really not see me losing my way.

All I needed was someone to see me,
Someone to recognize me,
Someone to hear me, and
Someone to care...

I'm tired of wearing this mask,
Tired of pretending to be who you want me to be,
Tired of my roll in this masquerade ball called life.

But as life goes;
Tomorrow
And the day after that,
You'll still just see me Smile and Laugh...
