Looking down again

The fight in me seems to be coming to an end,

My eyes growing heavier

As I see the life escaping from my wrists.

The pain is gone now

The voices are quiet.

A smile forms upon my lips

But for the first time in a long time,

It’s a smile that is free from hurt,

It’s a smile that doesn’t need to pretend...

My fear is gone now

The voices are quiet.

My body starts to shiver

My eyes drawing it’s final curtain,

I can feel the Shadow man creeping closer

But im relaxed and at peace...

My hurt is gone now

The voices cannot return.

A tear rolls down my cheek

As my memories consume me.

Im free now,

The Shadow can take me.
