It all begins at the break of dawn,

When time goes slow and people yawn.

The cries turn into devouring screams,

And close their eyes and begin to dream.

People hushed by sudden death,

Dared to silence with every breath.

To live, to shine, to embrace time,

Forced to face the slender line.

Smiles deprived of their wondrous glory,

Sealed to mouth the daunting story.

Lives crushed by political tales,

A ship that sinks in broken sails

No way to exit the one way road,

Until the scars reveal their souls.

To live, to shine, to embrace time,

Prying blue eyes; a demoralizing crime.
