See The Rain
Hear the sound so mellow and gentle,
To hear the whisper of the tree leaves surrounding my window,
the voices of nature burning for more,
the gust of the breeze tanging my door.
Hold for the moment as my eyes are closed, the sound of the parade
by the old sycamore;
Alas, I awake the cry of the drops, tangling through the sky
from a far and so high.....
The sound as I look from my window pane,
the joy of the rain I see today.
