Sitting Amongst Those
Sitting amongst those.... on the patio of light
World Trade Center busy.... not quiet as I like
Lunch time brings many out.... to gather for their fix.
to unite in conservation....many mingle in the mix.
Sitting amongst those.... on the patio of light
I vision across the building so high.... glass as sheilds
tiles of delight-
To gaze on over.... a couple in my sight
The other end across... busy workers clean up
Lunch is over now.... across the patio that I see
behold one more .... smoking careless and free
another look and then oh it is me....
Across the stand and over there...
a traveler as I see like thee.
