Ode to a Cow

When the one girl you thought was one your closest friends turns out to be a two-timing severely annoying monstrosity of a bitch? Write her a poem. Seriously.

Subtle insults thrown unsubtly my way
Patronisingly, she tries to make me pay
Flaunting jargon, here and there
She throws it in my face, as if she thinks I care

She gnaws on my nerves, with her two-faced lies
Then incessant talking to make me like her, she tries
She tries persistently to be amazing
But fortunately, it doesn’t faze me

When will she realise that no-one can stand her?
With her complex, whining and never-ending blather
Stop trying to be all sophisticated
And stop trying to make the boys intoxicated

She’s pathetic, annoying and a self-righteous bitch
I’m incredulous to the fact that she can lie without a twitch
Go away, far away – far, far, FAR
You silly little cow ... Who do you think you are?
