I am the king of bees, The emperor of flies
The lord of the dung beetles, the god with segmented eyes
the maggots of the world digest in my name
and the pupating nymphs hatch for the same
My ants are legion, my mosquitoes swarm
my followers come in quiet and leave like a storm
the staccato of cicadas is my symphony
and the destruction of locust is my homily
we infest your food whether it be fruit or bread
we have invaded your home, come join us in your bed
we avoid your shoes, we dodge your slaps
we drink your poisons, we defy your traps
I and my people will continue to carry on
Surviving long after you and yours are gone
So heed our wisdom, dance to the buzz we sing
and bow to your masters and kneel before your king
