The pieces before me, my life is tough

What once was me turned into us

but us is over and I'm back to just me

Where do I turn for comforting kindness

I have no hope, no friends to turn to

What happened to us, you've gone and confused me

We were going so well, you said you loved me

is that your type of love, brutal and cruel

I told everyone about us, now I look the fool

You betrayed my love, the pieces are shattered

they say I'll get over you, but for now nothing else matters

I can't eat, sleep, dream, my life is in tatters

I did everything to make you stay, but in the end you went anyway

I cry empty tears, my sorrow is rife

I've lost my will, I don't want my life

Without a soul, the body is weak

Your new love surrounds you, my emptiness me

My heart is bitter, twisted and stricken with grief

Will you never come back and fill this puzzle

Your piece is missing since we've been apart

My loneliness engulfs my grief stricken heart.

I yearn for your affections, maybe a new start,

But I guess I'll get over you, all lovers must part....
