Contrasting Radiance

The moon is seen through its soft glow,

Luminescent and peaceful in show,

When compared to the sun its radiance is art,

The sunlight still acts as its beating heart,

The fury of the sun contrasts the tranquillity of the moon,

Though across both surfaces its light is strewn,

This light may depict sadness or lashing anger,

But within the eye of the beholder,

It is a masterpiece and without it life would be colder

Darkness shows no comforting form,

Light may eliminate its storm,

No matter the how it will appear,

The light will evaporate your fearful tears
