When you decide to ignore. [boy side]

I once knew a girl,
her eyes were cunning but, gentle,
her hair was long and soft,
her scent was indulging.
She was my classmate.
She had a smile fit for a goddess,
Her sweet laughter would fill our class with joy,
We were momentarily close, just for a very short while.
I grew fond of her,
hanging out after school and weekends,
but that was before.
It was that day,
the day she confessed
I was lost, I didn't know what to do.
I ignored her all the while.
but then,I guess she moved on.
I realized what I lost,
a classmate, a friend, a confidant.
But most of all,
A loved one.
