Mesmerized

Is it bad?

Trapped in a blanket of darkness

Weaving through the past.

Slowly

Every detail becomes clear.

What fragment of ice has

Healed the heat of my self-respect.

Newfound, dumbfound,

Unable to look away from the light of disgrace,

The shadow of falsehood,

The mist of nostalgia,

The glimmer of faith;

Like clouds

Bathed in morning sun.

Enlighten paths of

Heaven above,

Hell below.

Lead to a greater destiny;

A fault of fate.

Sinning.

In many ways.

Hoping.

It is not bad.

Mesmerized. I am

Simply,

Mesmerized.
