Cash

Nature is such a marvelous thing,
it causes flowers to bloom in spring.
Birds hatch, and learn to fly,
sapling trees grow, and strive to reach the sky.
Countless insects, scour the land,
fish, and crustaceans swim, and sieve the sand.

Mammals, and man stand at the top of the tree of life,
for nature, man causes the utmost strife.
The rivers sea, and air are filled with his toxic waste,
land is recontoured to suit his taste.
Acid rain falls on the land,
turning every thing it touches into sand.
Rivers are dammed, and full of trash,
when all is gone, and lost forever.
What will be left, nothing but a pile of rotting CASH.
