A Poem on Climate Change

Take Me Back To Nature-

Take me back to nature,

Return to me my Future.

A Patel said to a stream,

I have withered I may die,

Tack me back to flower.

The day was too short,

The night is too long.

The summer was too cold,

The winter is too hot.

O music sweet music,

O melody sweet melody,

Come and sing with these birds,

They may not be around tomorrow,

The happiness you may find today,

May not be around tomorrow.

This bird this branch,

This tree this trunk,

May not be around tomorrow.

Though future is uncertain,

Though tomorrow is behind the curtain,

Go and talk to mountain tops,

Go and salute the nature,

It looks more beautiful from there,

Go and say good bye,

It may not be there tomorrow,

As man is eating mountains.

O mother your son may not inherit,

All the glory that you did,

When it reached me it was half,

Tomorrow it may disappear.

He may not be able to touch the rose,

Caress the trees,

Walk on the grass,

It may all disappear,

What will remain behind?

No one knows,

But please just today,

Take me back to nature,

Return to me my future.
