Jerusalem the land of the braves

Oh Jerusalem, your tears make me sad

Crying in the shadows and no one cares

Your children dying, your streets are red

Your glow is dimmed by devils heirs

You’re not the same anymore

A red rose held by a beautiful bride

You use to laugh in the face of war

You were fearless and full of pride

Now you’re hurt and hardly gasping

We let you down to fight alone

Waiting in silence for another Saladin

Longing to regain your lost throne

I beg of you Jerusalem, don’t close your eyes

Be hopeful, for after dark comes the sunrise
