I wrote this one evening for my daughter who has suffered the rumor mill.

Karma of Rumors
I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt.
You are the person that I thought I could trust.
You started the rumors, the hurt and the lies,
it’s obvious you don’t care that I’m dying inside!
How can I trust you, a friend, your suppose to be,
...who so coldly lied and made everyone believe!
I’ve come to the conclusion, maybe were not meant to be,
Friends or acquaintances...................just enemies!
Now I don’t know who to trust, are you happy? Isn’t that what you want?
Go ahead point your finger, whisper in their ears,
I’m so much stronger than that, you won’t see any tears.
But when the rumors are on you, and you feel like I do,
Don’t come running to me, I won’t be there for you!
