She's dead.  Tied up in the backseat.  Her head sags on her chest. Her shirt is stained a sticky red.  Lights flash red and blue in my rear view mirror.  The siren whoops.  I pull over.  Sweat breaks out on my forehead.The policeman walks toward my car with a flashlight in hand.  The policeman shines the light on her face.  "Are we home daddy?", she murmurs.
