I can finally go on,

This cancer is gone,

Its controlled my life,

Taken my wife,

This can't be real,

With my body so frail,

But I am leaving the hospital,

My words seem so uncomprehensible,

Why can't the doctors hear me,

Its like they can not see,

I walk back to my room,

What I saw I will not believe anytime soon,

For there was my body on the bed,

Oh no I cannot be dead,

I've got so much left to say,

Please Death why won't you let me stay,

I want to see my kids,

Give them my farewell bids,

But now I must pray,

For I'm about to blow away,

I'm sorry for what I've done,

Don't let the bad things affect the good of some,

I'm ready to depart,

Heaven is such a form of art.
