The clock is slowly winding down, The smile I once had, turned to a frown, For its not too long before school is done, Time has gone so quick, it feels like a stun, For life itself is almost over, And all this time I've been such a loafer, But now is the time, I must kick it in gear, It won't be too much longer, til college is here, I need to be prepared, and make sure I'm ready, But I need to take it slow, slow and steady, For too much gain, could change my ways, Forgetting about time, and all of the days, Having no memories is not what it's about, Loving and laughing, don't you dare go and pout, So enjoy the time you have in this life, For it won't be long til all of us die.
