Summary

I wrote this when I was 14 and thought it up on the bus going home from school it was a week or more though before it was actually down on paper .I entered this in a competition back then for school and it got third equal place .It's about being abandoned by someone and them coming back for you .Bear in mind I'm still unsure if master is a good man or not see for yourself .

We are the forgotten
Master left us here
Went over the misty moors
Where the lone wolf howls
We remember the time
When he held us
Cradled us
Comforted us
In times of pain
We dream of his strong
Arms holding us
Of his loving eyes
Looking into our very souls

We lie on the dusty floor
Pain consumes us
Eats into us
The wind howls rattling
the old doorframe
Windows shatter, glass covers us
The old tin roof caves in, crushing us
We lie and wait for master
As the air runs dry
Master caries us out with strong arms
Throwing away the rubble
and the pain
He lays our beaten bodies on the rich soil
Breathes life into our bodies

Master came for us
He rode through the southerly Gail
To save us from death
