This poem is about the beach, Destin, FL. It reminded me of many things that happened it my life, so I decided to write a poem of what my opinions are on Destin.

Destin Beach

The sun was beaming on the sand

The smell and taste of salt water filled the air

Blue water, shining sky

Laughter and fun are everywhere

Seashells wash up on the shore

Fish jumping for joy

Para-sailors look from up above

Hermit crabs looking from below

Children building sand castles

Swimming and surfing

Parents relaxing

Applying sunscreen hourly

The sky begins to darken

Colors fill the sky

Watching the sunset

Taking pictures of the beautiful sight

Water is calm

Crabs come out

Stars shining

The wind starts blowing

Walking with family

Having fun

Laughing about memories

Singing for joy

The day gone by quickly

Wishing we could stay longer

Driving back

Now back to reality
