The act or an instance of forgetting; total forgetfulness

Freya Whitfield is the key to her deceased dad's murder case, but the only problem is she can't seem to remember anything about that night three years ago. Her mom is relying on her to remember, so she can get out of jail but nothing helps.

Danny Brusca moves to Crescent Bay from Miami for his junior year, making his popularity strike up because of his dashing looks, blah blah blah. Freya tries to keep away from him because he reminds her so much of her dad. Her dead dad. Murdered. But in a small town like CB, it's really hard to avoid people.

Plus, a lot of people—including old people and adults, (sometimes teachers)—like to make Freya's life a little bit of hell because of her deplorable family; so there's no possible way Freya can hide.
