This is a poem about a phase in life that most girls go through during jr. high/middle school. I know I have.

Pictures not mine.

I look in the mirror,
What do I see,
A perfect girl?
No that's not me.
I stare back ,
at her watching me,
Then she scowls,
shes nothing to see.
Perfect hair,
Perfect clothes,
too much makeup,
or so shes told.
shes such a bully,
to herself at least,
nothing right,
for her to be.
Shes so popular,
Shes so nice,
If I told her,
To be herself,
She won't listen,
Because shes not herself.
She wears contacts,
reads Anne Rice,
takes lots of pictures,
of her life.
