If I were to die today.
Please don't give my heart away.
It will not work for whom it's given.
Always forgotten.
Forever broken.
My love was a token.
With words once spoken.
Now just a whisper in the wind that breezes my memories past.
This did not last.
This will not last.
Please just make it fast.
If I were to die today,
Don't give my shattered heart away.
My love was a token.
With words once spoken,
Did you ever think we'd end up like this?
I never imagined it would end like this.
I've but one wish,
If you so choose to grant it;
Would you give me my last dieing kiss?
If I were to die today,
Please, give not my heart away.
I did not want this pain.
And so I watched with much strain
as I washed my blood right down the drain.
Nothing lost, nothing gained.
We have lost.
and we will pay the cost.
If I were to die today,
Just don;t give my heart away.
You begged me to stay.
But I must go.
I assure you though,
That if I were to die on this day,

There would be not a heart to give away.
