We found each other in empty hotel rooms.
You were a lost rogue, running from anything real, and I was just drifting through, trying to survive.
But now, as I sit in this empty hotel room without you, my thoughts linger on you, a loner with such lively thoughts. Somehow, I made you more like me. I killed your sense of spontaneity, your urges to just act on what you felt.
I can't help but to think of the damage I left.
But you wrecked me too.
I'm lonely without your wild hair and thoughtless thoughts.
We were a catastrophe together, me and you.
Most of the time, our words strung together didn't make sense. We were just two abandoned souls, stringing together words that didn't make sense, and trying to read into each other's minds.
We were trying to find a way to fit into each other's stories, or into anybody's stories.
For you, it was easy. You were meant to captivate an entire story.
I, on the other hand, was meant to be a fleeting character, gone with the flip of ten pages.
