The sky is moving, as if to not
Take kind to the belief in sun.
And drenches me dearly
So wet and
So cold.

The cold pane sits still, motionless
Just to move when the rain is lifted.
But she has yet to let up
to keep on in the wilderness
the poor rain cries on.

Whilst contemplating death of morrow,
I sat to coax the pane; she was bleak
Her kindness did drown.
Blundered ‘neath the undergrowth.

Colours bled through the curtains.
Tarnished the wood with a sigh
As though leaves staining the streets
But I kept on
So still and
So shy.
