The Fence Is Coming Down

The fence is broken, light shines through the gap

It's starting to wobble, I can see the children's toys

The wind is blowing

The fence wobbles some more

The view is wider every day

Toys, garden ornaments, pots and bicycles

Our tree is holding the fence up

Nature shows no strain

Our bush is taking the weight of the fence

Nature shows the strain

Tall and strong is the tree

Short and crumpled is the bush

One fence, one tree and one bush

But so much is going on

Nature shows balance so simply
