I deleted her outta my life. She was causing me pain, and I couldn't take it anymore. I wrote a poem about what it feels like.

~To lose a best friend~
When you lose your best friend,
your world starts to crash.
Even though you hate her,
your life starts to flash.
She treats you like crap,
you do the same.
So why were you ever friends,
if you cause each other pain?
Because we can't live without eachother,
no matter how hard we try.
For we always come back running,
before one of us dies.
We make promises that are lies,
and vow to be true.
But one week later,
those "promises" have flew.
I am tired of repeating this pattern over and over again,
which is why I now say good-bye, dear best friend.
We hurt each other too much,
just trying to fit in.
But the pain afterward hurts,
causing our brains to fight within.
It will be for the best,
just wait and see.
All the teasing and pushing,
will fall down to its knees.
Tears will be shed,
but it will be the best way.
just don't get too sad,
and end your life upon day.
Sides will be chosen,
our whole group is to split.
All because of a "little" fight,
that made us chomp at the bit.
Whomever may hate me now,
I just want to let you know,
that even though inside my heart is breaking,
on the outside, it will never show.
I guess I could apologize,
so we can avoid this whole thing.
But I know I can't let you win,
so this fight we are still to bring.
You may go first,
and say sorry before me.
I'll then say it back,
and the roaring waters will be calm in the sea.
If I made you cry,
good, then maybe it made you think.
to stop lying and making up stories,
that will make our friend's heart's sink.
