I wish you would hear me, can't you hear my screams!?
It all makes sense in my head, but my heads not right, so it seems.

Can't you see I'm fucken yelling, help me! Set me free!
There's constant pain in every part of me.

I talk to my loved one, but it falls on deaf ears.
My thoughts are to complex and filled with shit he's not trying to hear.

My heart is screaming in love for you ,though we are at war.
I keep fucking up and apologizing for shit I've already said sorry for.

Am I really this monster you view me as?
Stuck paying for the shit daily that I've done in the past.

I'm done fighting battles, but I love the war.
How do I get you to understand you're worth fighting for.

So I'll just hold you in my arms and gourd your dreams.
And try not to wake you with my silent screams.

A powerful poem, where the bluntness of words lives up to the emotional dimension of the message.
