"The humiliated and ridiculed" is about our life experiences. We are all caught off guard every once in a while and that is when we get humiliated. We sometimes let that make us feel badly about our selves but we shouldn't. We should embrace the humiliation and learn from it. We don't have anything to fear, we think that others will make fun of us but they too have been through the same humiliation and will be again. If we don't want to feel that humiliation again, we just have to remember those moments so that next time we will know how to act in a similar situation.

Today's topic is humiliation and the consequences.

I believe that most part of life are overrated, we often get nervous for the most small details in life. For example, I had an oral exam today that I was quite nervous about like almost everyone else in the classroom. The teacher noticed how nervous we all were and gave up a speech about how the exam wasn't important, failing wasn't going to ruin our lives, getting it wrong and being humiliated for a few minutes wasn't going to ruin our lives. We always worry about looking bad or being humiliated because we think that others will think of us differently if they see up during a time of weakness but the truth is that we all show a bit of weakness every once in a while and we have all been humiliated many times in public.

Yes some people might make fun of you, some people will try to make you feel bad about yourself, but guess what, you don't have to listen to them, and you most definitely don't have to believe them, in fact you shouldn't. What they say is wrong, they don't really know you, if they did they wouldn't make fun of you because they would know that you have just been through a tough time of humiliation and it doesn't happen all the time to you.

Everyone has been humiliated and more than once. The people who make fun of you for being humiliated have also been ridiculed in their life and they will be again. It has happened to all of us and will keep happening because we can't do anything about it. We can't be ready for everything that is going to happen in life and that is what causes us to be humiliated, to be caught off guard. It happens to everyone and we shouldn't let it get to us. We shouldn't get put down by humiliation, we should embrace it, use it. Learn from your humiliation so that next time you find yourself in a similar situation, you will be ready.

Since you would have already have been in that situation and been humiliated by it, you would have remembered it perfectly and next time something like that happens, you will know what to do and how to act.

Humiliation isn't doing something wrong and feeling bad about it after, it is feeling bad about what others think about you. An example of being humiliated is speaking in public. I am taking this example because it is a constant challenge of mine and I have been humiliated while speaking in public many times. I struggle with it much less now because I have had so much experience with it and have felt embarrassed and humiliated that I have learned that I wasn't the only one who was nervous and ridiculed. Many people were. Everyone I was speaking to knew how nervous I was understood. They were there to listen and not to judge. That is how you should take life, once you realise that everyone else is in the same situation as you are, everyone else is just as nervous to take on life, you will see that there is nothing to be afraid of.

Stay strong, keep on surviving, see you, I love you!

Don't fear humiliation, embrace it.
