"The inevitable shouldn't change you" is about being afraid of change, being afraid of what is going to happen in the future, afraid of the inevitable. Many people are afraid that their life will take a terrible turn or that their future won't be as successful as they hope, they are afraid of losing people which is understandable but not healthy. These people spend so much time worrying about all of this that they forget to have fun, they forget to live in the moment. They let what might or might not happen in the future ruin their present. I don't want that to happen to us, that's why I wrote this miscellaneous, to show you that what happens or doesn't happen in the future is none of our concern right now, we should be worrying about that, we shouldn't be worrying at all, we should be enjoying the present and the life that we have been given, not the life that we will have.

Today's topic is change, the unknown and inevitable, don't be afraid of change and don't worry about the future, it's all going to happen anyway so what's the point in worrying about it?

I was thinking about the future today, as I do most of the time, I thought about what it would be like to have a job, have the bar I have always wished for and the writing career I have always dreamt of. I thought about what it would be like to leave school and never go back, leave all of those people and never see them again. Most of the people I know are afraid of this, they are afraid of change. I personally don't see the point in being scared of such a thing, change is inevitable, whether we are scared or not it is going to happen anyway, being afraid is just going to stop us from enjoying the moment we are in.

On the other hand I can understand being afraid of change, it isn't change in itself that scares people, it's not knowing what is going to happen next. When we finish school or our studies we don't know where we are headed next, we can have a plan for the future but we still don't know if it will work the way we want, anything can happen at any moment, our career can fail, our relationships can fail, we can lose people we love, we can lose contact with the people we cared about the most when we were at school...

That's what scares people, not knowing and therefore not being able to be prepared for what will happen. We are told all of our lives that we should have a plan, that we are supposed to know exactly what we are going to do when we get out of school, we are taught how to work hard and handle the pressure of having a job, however we are not taught what to do if we can't find a job, we are not aught how to handle that pressure. We are not taught to improvise in those situations.

Some people think that if you grow up in a wealthy family and if you have good grades at school your future is fine and you are going to end up with a great job and you will be able to provide for your family. But that's not always the case, you can get fired or not find a job no matter how good your grades are, your business or bar or whatever might not be successful and you might not be able to provide for your family. Anything can happen.

But I have two question for you: What can you do about that right now? How is worrying about it going to help your future? If anything, worrying about is going to ruin your present.

That's why I wrote this miscellaneous, to show you that anything can happen, that change is inevitable and that your life can fail, don't get me wrong, it can very well succeed and you can have a very good life. But what if you don't? Are you going to let that ruin your present by worrying? Are you going to let that take your childhood away from you? I am saying no, no to letting that get me down, no to letting that change me as a person and destroying my life.

I say live in the moment, enjoy your time as a child, a teenager, an adult as much as you can, you don't know if you are going to stay as happy as you are now, you don't know if you are going to stay as miserable, but that doesn't matter does it? What matters is the moment you are living in right now, enjoy the present instead of worrying about the future.

Stay strong, keep on surviving, see you, I love you!

Live in the moment, don't let the inevitable ruin you.
