Wolf's rain. Contains some spoilers, so dont read this unless your finished with the anime/manga! *Probably no spoliers, im just being paranoid*Slight hints of Tsume/Toboe if you squint. I like to think if it as friendship though, but you could call it yaoi romance if it makes you feel good. ;)
Anyways, I dont know what I'm trying to accomplish here. Maybe just to write some stuff down, since it's currently almost 12 am. Don't hate if it has ridiculous typos, as I am saying again, it's getting to the early morning and my brain doesn't want to work properly. I dont own wolf's rain.

Toboe padded around an alleyway, hands wrapped around the back of his head, humming quite contented. Strange, how much Freeze City had changed. It had been awhile though, Toboe mused. Still so friken cold though. Toboe had left his pack for the moment, wanting to go on a walk. Many memories, all unpleasant. Almost all unpleasant. There were faint, sweet memories of Granny, but also bitter ones. And meeting his pack, those were nice memories. Toboe reflected on when he had met his first wolf. Tsume had been in a bitter mood, and he was taking a short cut to who knows where, and Toboe had almost ran into him. Toboe had never seen another wolf in this city, but he had heard rumors from the alley cats and bedraggled night ravens. Tsume had shrugged him off, ignoring the younger wolf. Yeah, Tsume was really bitter that day. Well, Toboe mused, Tsume never seemed to be in a good mood. His emotions were mostly guilt, anger, sadness and rare contempt. Tsume had told off Toboe, calling him an idiot for some reason Toboe couldn't remember. Toboe had been mildly hurt, and then the hunter showed up with Blue. Tsume disappeared, leaving small Toboe face to face with the drunk hunter. He rembered how scared he was, and how Tsume had saved him at the last moment. Toboe had followed Tsume around ever since then. In a way, Toboe looked up to Tsume. Not for social skills, hell no, but psychical and some stray mental reasons. Tsume was strong, and never backed down from a fight. Toboe wished he could say the same for himself, but he was just a runt, as Tsume pointed out everyday. Again, Toboe didn't blame the older wolf for his cruel ways. He thought of it as constructive critism. So Toboe ignored Tsume's harsh words and constant teasing, and soon enough Tsume seemed to refrain from doing so. He's such a strange wolf, Toboe thought as he watched the crows that used to tease him fly into the air. They shouted their condolences to the young red wolf, seeing past his human disguise. Toboe couldn't help grinning. They must have heard he was in a pack, for they didn't tease and peck at him. The crows were notorious gossipers, so Toboe wouldn't put it past them. Toboe tilted his head as he heard a faint hiss, then jumped in fright as a alley cat crossed his path. Toboe huffed. Cats had always freaked him out, and the fear would never really vanish. Toboe growled half heartedly after it, but didn't go after it like most canines would, wolf or dog, I didn't matter. 'Runt, afraid of cats?' a familiar voice spoke up from in front of Toboe. Toboe stared at the shape for a moment. 'Hey, Tsume.' Toboe responded, ignoring the teasing from the grey wolf. 'I thought you were off with Kiba and Cheza?' Toboe asked, curious. 'Everyone has gone their separate ways-for now. Kiba will call us back when he is ready, but for now were just free to mope around this hell hole.' Tsume said the last part bitterly. He had anything but fond memories of this city. The closest thing was meeting the pup, Tsume thought to himself. He had saved the pup (Just by instinct, Tsume said to himself hurriedly. He didn't care for the weak wolf.), and ever since Toboe had been following him. Tsume had tried many times to throw off the red wolf, but the runt didn't budge from his side. Fuck, Tsume had snapped and bit and tried his best to scare him off, but he stayed stubbornly with him. He still didn't understand why the pup did that. What drove him to stay with Tsume? Tsume drew the thoughts away, focusing on older memories. His 'gang' of 'friends'. Yeah right, Tsume inwardly scoffed. He didn't need friends. He was perfectly fine on his own. Plus, those damn humans had betrayed him. Turned on him, given his location to the police squadrons. Blamed him for Ghel's death. Tsume had done some pretty screwed up things in his life, but he wouldn't kill a kid. He had tried to save the pup-the kid-, but when he tried to grab him and pull Ghel up from his current dangling off an edge position, Tsume had forgotten his human disguise was an illusion. He had foolishly tried to grab Ghel's hand, but instead gripped Ghel's shoulder in his jaws. He let go as the kid screamed, falling. Well, whatever, the kid was dead, and that was over, Tsume thought. For now he had only one person to keep safe. Toboe. Hige and Kiba could look after themselves perfectly fine, but Toboe was a runt, a weakling. He needed someone to look after him, so Tsume reluctantly took the job. He had already saved the red wolf's life more than twice before, so hell to his better judgement. A loud howl drew Tsume and Toboe both from their thoughts. Toboe smiled, and looked towards the source of sound. 'Kiba's calling. Lets get going!' Toboe said enthuisiasticly, and Tsume rolled his eyes. Anything excited this pup. Tsume followed Toboe. 'Back on the trail for Paradice.' Toboe grinned at the thought. 'I guess so.' Tsume agreed. 'I winder what it will be like..' Toboe mused, then explained what he thought Paradice was like. Tsume didn't listen, like usual. His job was to protect the pup, not deal with his ramblings. --The End..? Maybe more, if I get the urge to write again. I have no idea why I wrote this. It doesn't really have a plot, it's more like a recap. Humph, I skipped the recaps in anime. I finished the episodes in one day, so I didn't need a recap to refresh my mind. Anyways. What was I saying again? I dunno. Oh- I remember. I love Tsume and Toboe, they are my favorite characters, and I love their brotherly bond. K bye. Till next time.
