Cries screaming
Warriors roaring
Swords fighting
Arrows soaring

Parrying, blocking
Charging with haste
Slashing and stabbing
No time to waste

Crying high
For freedoms sake
Thrusting my sword
Bones did I break

Anger and arrogance
My sword shines red
Blocking and slashing
Off goes his head

As I crush another
An arrow in my thigh
It’s all too apparent
That I’m going to die

But no, I do stand
I slash out in anger
Blood spills and puddles
My enemies stagger

I flash to now
Where battles face changes
No honour or glory
Shot down at ranges

The difference in war
In modern battle is treason
You die like a dog
For no good reason
