Dulled mind, filled with worry, no songs are sung
Inside mind walls hold back, “Coketown” she has become
Swollen with fact, corrupted with madness
Shining like gravel, waters flowing with sadness
Lightning bolt crack, foaming whirlpool rise
Birds swirl, cloaked by the clouds of the skies
Green grass flow, dance in the wind
Sunrise burns, fire crackles, the daylight wins
Eyes open, winds chill and all too much to see
Crystal fields alive in living melody
Hairs stand on end, in an enlightening motion
Walls cracked, collapsed, flood forth like an ocean.
Rain patters on like a distant drum
Wind whistles in tune, music has begun
Rivers flow past, in a harmony unknown to man
Opal eyes shimmer, and then run as fast as they can
Across distant plains, filled with patience and wisdom
Rain patters like a distant drum
On towards an ocean, towards a golden shore
Where the waters flow, forever more.
