I wrote this poem in regards to my Mother who has faced many obstacles in which I have witnessed, sometimes unable to make a difference.

paper doll, how do you cry?

between your nose lays no eyes.

perhaps your heart began to leak,

when you heard the woman through the creak.

you cannot stand, you cannot yell.

this closet will remain your living hell.

paper doll, has no eyes.

has only learned through decietful lies.

you've forgotten her in the closet now...

left life in denial, but how?

paper doll hears it all,

paper doll watched her fall.

she cannot speak up,

she cannot reach out.

she would tell you what it's all about.

so she waits in the dark for recognition,

has only learned through your demolition-

to the woman who paper doll can't save

instead she'll remain in her wallowing grave.

paper doll, how do you cry?

between your nose, lays no eyes.

perhaps her heart began to leak

when she heard the woman through the creak.

you cannot stand.

you cannot yell.

this closet will remain your living hell.
