Life

This is Just the Beginning   By Teresita Villafuerte   This is just the beginning Of life’s meaning All we can do now is continue living And try to blend in   There’s times when everything is great And we forget about the hate We learn to appreciate The things fate can create   What is the pursuit of happiness? I don’t know but I won’t stress With happiness, can we fear things less and less? Can it make us less of a mess?   I am about to blow I’m a ticking bomb ready to explode I need to let my emotions go But I’m afraid to let them show   I’m fragile like a teacup I hide behind my make up My emotions are building up I’m not ready for a close up   My eyes are weary I feel no beauty My eyes are shut dully So I sigh silently   Everyone has experienced a bad day When all we want is for everything to away I want to runaway And maybe find relief halfway   But running away from problems is never good Things just build up and can’t go away unlike firewood If I could, I would go back to the past and change things starting from the first day I stood   The feeling of joy or laughter is inexplicable It lasts for a while just like a child’s giggle But it enlightens us up like a star that twinkles

I like it, but it would be better if u spread it out into poem format instead of a paragraph, but I'm not complaining since I like the content XD
