He's breaking up with her for another woman. She wants to plead and beg him to stay but she won't... Purely fiction...thank God.

You tell me that
You have to go
She's waiting for you
Down the road

You didn't want
To write or call
You had to tell me
Once and for all

Your heart's not here
And has not been
Not for awhile
Not since she came in

I should've known
Something was wrong
Should've seen the signs
They were so strong

You turn to leave
And I exclaim
Wait! Don't go...
At least explain

Tell me when,
And why and how
I need the truth
I need it now

Tell me every detail
That you have
What does she have
That I must lack?

No stop, just don't,
Please don't say
Just tell me you "love her"
And I can walk away.
