Who was she? Why was she here? And what is up with her leaning against him? Him! An insane psychopath who has killed many; why did she need to lean into him? Sharing her flowery perfume and seductively smiling as she leaned her back further into him chest. Of course she must feel safe at the fact that he was in a strait jacket or maybe it was the guard over his mouth so he was weaponless. But even without these things she should be scared.

“Mute.” He heard her whisper, almost as seductively as her eyes seemed to be. Of course all he could do was nod, just like his name stated, he couldn’t speak. But she didn’t seem to care, “I have been watching you for a while.” Watching him? Was she was stalker? Well, there are a few people who stalked insane criminals. It has been proven that criminals and villains have more fans than that of good people and heroes.
Mute couldn’t get his eyes to focus, so his view on his surroundings was quite limited. Who was she really? He hadn’t heard her voice before, so she has never spoken to him. He can’t recall ever having a female doctor, and there are no female guards. Who was she? Out of any moment in his life he has never wanted to speak more than he did now. He wished he could just ask her who she was. But he was stuck, no voice or sight and his touch was limited because of the strait jacket. All he had to rely on was his hearing and smell, and boy did she make both those senses tingle. Quit it Mute! You need to try and focus.
“You wanna know who I am, right?” She asked his question for him, could she read his mind? Maybe it was written all over his face that he wanted to know. “My name is Purr,” she said as she turned to face him, he could see her blurry outline and hints of colors, such as purple and blue, “and for the longest time I have admired you from you cell door.”
From his cell door? He wished he could do something but he was still absorbing what she was telling him. Here goes: Her name is Purr, and for the longest time she has been watching him from the cell door, an object that he ignores when he sits in the dimly lit room.
He still didn’t understand why she would bother to come in to his room when he has the chance to just kill her now and try to make an escape, or just stay knowing that he would end up here again anyway.
“I came up with a plan over the past few months.” Purr stated as she stood up, now his view of her was worse, when he tried to lift his head up to follow her he got a headache. But now he wondered about this plan and why she was telling him. “I knocked out and disposed of all the guards around this area, any that show up will be easy to get rid of,” She looked back at him he blinked his view to be a bit better, now he saw what looked like a girl in a blue and purple costume. “Okay, Mute, I decided over the time I spent working here that…”Her sentence drifted off a bit and when he came back to reality she quickly turned around and grabbed his arm through the jacket and bolted for the exit.
So this was her plan, to help him escape. There had to be a catch though, just had to be. Who was Purr really?
After they had gotten away and now sat in her car she turned to him and said, “Now I’m your partner, when you’re in a jam I’ll be there in a flash.” With that she opened her door and in the blink of an eye she was gone.
It was today that Mute started to believe in comic book heroes and villains.
And it was today that he didn’t feel alone.
An added bonus on his part, she had released him from the strait jacket’s binds.
Now Mute was back to rein more terror in people’s hearts, and no one here was a hero, no one would…no, could stop him now.
For he had a few plans and tricks up his sleeves, this time he won’t be taken in so lightly, besides he has Purr on his side, this city will fall before the citizen would know what hit them. Mute was going to make sure of that.
And thus, concludes Mute’s return.
