pen to paper , 
anger has become the ink to illustrate the pain i feel while at the bottom of the bottle , i searched for answers to why you left
at the fork , i went right and you back...back to when you engaged
in meaningless affairs in fear of love's truth
did we ever even exist , or am i intoxicated from the remembrance of those pleasurable moments ,confusing it with love
were the words always empty or were we consumed by a yearning for
a feeling each of us never knew
it doesn't matter because all that remains now is a faint pulse of what could have been and a feeling disdain
the thought of going back to try again is no longer an option , so i bid you well wishes in this final line for i am
