MOON LIGHT

You see me standing there, waiting for the bus, I need a light, and I need someone to hold me tight.
Then I heard a word, a word that was so pure, the sound in my ear, the music is so clear.
For now, you are here, standing next to me, whispering I love you in my ear.
One day I will have a love that I can call my own, for now you are home, I do not have to call your phone, to say that I am all alone.
The moon is so high in the midnight sky, as I look at you I start to cry, for that night you said goodbye.
I ask you to stay, but you say that there is something in the way, was it the music in the air that turned you away, but now the music is low, just like the love that you let go.
I am sorry that you are not here, for I would give you a big hug, come on honey, come over hear, for now the music has to disappear, just like night sky, when the dawn comes around.
All I have is one tear in my eye, for all I can do is say goodbye, think of the one in the sky, for one day you will be saying goodbye.
The time has come, to be as one, when I can love you, or is my time all done. My heart is on fire, for you are my hearts desire.
