Mystifying and deceiving

Disguised as their prey

They act as those around them

They can only bring dismay

They are empowered by the beholder

This burden you may hold

They tempt you to destruction

Yet the truth stays untold

No life lies in their void

They talk amongst themselves

They take the appearance of man

In this artificial hell

They take over the people

Who can keep themselves sane

They corrupt their human minds

Then over the land they reign

They lead among the nations

Still hiding from the rest

I am asking you now

I am putting you to the test

Can you seek out these monsters?

Bring back the life within

The ones they haven't corrupt

A barrage against the sin

Take back the life they had

In an eternity once before

Cast away all these demons

And to finish shut the door

To hide these things away

In their dark, unchanging way
