Got bored one day and decided to write as if someone I was close to had committed suicide. This was the second poem I wrote.

A A A

You thought you were all alone;

If only you could have known

What you meant to me.

I’m filled with all this self-hate

Because I was too little too late

To save you from society.

Now I am in a bind

I can’t get you off my mind

Because I don’t want to be…..alone.

But the pain is unbearable

And the guilt is just terrible

My mind has imprisoned me.

I guess the moral of this poem

Is “Tell them that you love them”

Because depression has nobody.
