I heard what you said the other day

about how you hate, and how they'll pay

pay for what, I do not know

I'll pay for this, singing my heart's sad, silent song

I feel like me...I'm the one that's wrong

not for being who i am, but for not being strong

you say you hate them, i say nothing back

just turn away

try not to react

were you ever really my friend?

the one I always counted on, you swore you'd be there till the end

I've cryed in your arms, about this and about that

but these tears don't come, they stay hidden, but not intact

you make a remark, I pretend not to hear

but in my soul I shed a solitary tear

fake a smile and strike up a talk

because my tears are silent, until at least I tried true friendship

my tears were silent for fear of your scold

now that i've told you you're acting so cold

but my tears still stay silent, remembering all the times you stayed on my side

you kept the secret from being told

now when another makes a remark

I keep the truth inside, locked in the dark

because my tears are silent, only on my soul have they left their mark
